Description

In response to the Club challenge to draw Danny and Valerie’s future kids. Kinda needs some background information to understand these characters, though…

Years and years after all the proper confessions were made, everything was settled with Vlad and both the man-made portals between the Ghost Zone and earth were shut down for good, we join a new generation of Fentons in Valerie, Danny and their kids.

In hopes of keeping their very human children from repeating their dangerous past, both Danny and Val have ‘officially’ given up ghost hunting for good (Unofficially, though, there are still ghosts who’s butts need kicking). Danny is still half ghost, but Phantom (And every other ghost, for that matter) hasn’t been seen in public for nearly twenty years. He still gets new powers that he has to train every now and then, but now his only certified jobs rotate between working as a volunteer firefighter and running the infamous Amity Park Museum of The Supernatural, which features displays about all the ghosts, ghost hunters and ghost hunting weapons Amity Park has ever played host to.

In contrast to this, Valerie has taken up the role as a Dojo instructor, where she teaches students several different styles of martial arts. Like Danny, Valerie still has her Red Huntress persona, which also hasn’t been seen for nearly twenty years. She’s become much more cautious over the years, so she likes to keep up with her training just in case anything bigger then the small time ghost they’ve had to deal with happens.

She was the one who developed the serum to keep her children free of ghost powers, with a little help from Maddie. By injecting herself with the concoction every night during her last three months of pregnancy, Valerie was able to keep her children from being forced to share the ties to the Ghost Zone that she and Danny had. Danny was kinda against the idea at first, but was eventually talked into it.

And now that that’s out of the way, we can get around to their four lovely children… Going from left to right we have;

Becky (Age 10) A shy, skittish little girl, who never really talks outside of their home. Becky loves animals, especially horses, and dreams of someday owning her own ranch. She’s very creative, but also cursed as the only Fenton child connected to the Ghost Zone, which was apparently too strong in her for the serum to fully break her of. Ever since she was a baby, Becky has had vivid dreams centering around the Ghost Zone and it’s occupants every night, which she often described to her family members. At least until she realized that they upset her mother for some reason…. Danny always enjoyed hearing them, though, since he liked to know what his old enemies were up to.

Dianne (Age 14) An occult maniac, Dianne has made it her life mission to study up on the bizarre and unbelievable. From her childhood Dianne was fascinated with the stories her Grandpa Jack would tell her about his ghost hunting days, and since then she’s dreamed of becoming a ghost hunter herself, much to Valerie’s dismay. She had very few friends thanks to her obsession, and is often teased and persecuted at school, but she inherited her mother’s stubbornness and learned to persevere in spite of this. Dianne has developed a fierce sense of independence because of her isolation, which has led her to being even more fanatical and makes it even harder for people to get along with her.

Thomas (Age 17) The oldest of the Fenton children, Thomas is the undisputed heartthrob of Casper High, despite being (In Dianne’s words) ‘A self-centered, egotistic pretty boy.’ He’s athletic due to all the time he spent in Valerie’s dojo as a child (He’s a ninth degree black belt in two different styles, and is a brown belt in a third), and is an avid member of both the track and basketball teams. He comes off as being cold and needlessly sarcastic, and their clashing personalities often lead him to bicker with Dianne. Still, he has a good side buried under his selfishness, which has him sticking up for his sister when people start mocking her (Whenever she’s not around to hear him, at any rate.)

Kyle (Age 6) The youngest of the Fenton children, Kyle greatly admires his father, and often follows him around because of it. He’s a very blunt child, which leads to a lot of embarrassment for the rest of the family (especially Valerie and Danny), but he’s also energetic and astonishingly bright. He shares his father’s childhood fascinations with space, and dreams of some day becoming an astronaut. An extremely observant boy, Kyle is the only one to ever realize that his parents were Danny Phantom and Red Huntress (At four years old, no less), which he has taken in stride without mentioning it to them.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to find a blunt object to beat myself with to ensure that this doesn’t turn into a story… Where’d Albert put his baseball bat again…?
